Vegetables! Yuk, Ugh, Gross!!!

Our mom always steams vegetables for Looli.
It's so gross!!! Looli loves it. Guess why? Because she is a genius! (My mom calls her Einstein.) She knows what is good for her. I, on the other hand, am funny and naughty, (which means in a very politically correct way - not very smart!) Do you know why? Because I hate vegetables and I love to chew plastics, dead birds, cat poo and all the fun stuff that make life interesting!!!

Looli - My Saver

It was dark, I was alone and I was scared.
Suddenly I heard Looli barking just on the other side of the shade.
Our mom was shushed her but Looli kept barking. I heard our mom walking towards her and asking her what is going on?... Looli didn't answer she just barked louder and louder. Mom asked her, are you barking at your reflection on the glass door? Looli didn't stop she kept on barking persistently. Finely mom turn on the switch and the shade was lifted. And guess who was there all by herself on the balcony?... She opened the door and I slipped in. I was so happy to be home. Looli was very pleased, she & waged her tail & smiled as if telling our mom, “Trust me, I know what I do!”
My mom kissed us both and begged for forgiveness. She said that she didn't notice me when she closed the shade. I forgave her and we all went back to sleep in our cozy bedroom.

Our Big Red Ball

Last week I walked with my mom (my step mom, I call her mom now) in our neighbourhood. There were lots of young humans hanging out. Some were even younger than me. They run, shouted, kicked & threw an amazing round object that rolled around & around. It rolled on the grass from side to side and its colours rolled around it. It was sooo cool!!! So I ran after it. It was fun and I rolled over it. I tried to catch it, but I couldn’t it was too big. Suddenly I heard a young human yelling “Yuk…Ugh, she is spitting on our ball! Disgusting!” My mother got really upset! She grabbed me and mumbled something to their mom. I think she mumbled something like, “Your ugly kids are welcomed to a bleach bath at my home”. The next day my mom came home with a big red ball! She said “it’s yours (Looli & me) and you can spit on it as mush as you like!!!”

My First Week In The Holy Land

Wow, it’s sunny and I love it! I can take sunbaths at my step mom's balcony all day long. I like to warm my petite Tuchas while my nose is in the shade.
I think that Looli, my stepsister, finally realized that I’m part of the family. I don’t think that she likes me but she doesn’t growl as often as she used to.
She loves our neighbor's home. Whenever the doors are open she sneaks in and I follow. It’s fun over there. They have a really cool carpet with fringes. Usually my step mom catches me before I chew it off. They have a pet parakeet. I love to sit by it and watch. I wonder if it tastes like chicken?
I got a brand-new red dish with paw design. It is so cool and my food tastes much much better. I couldn’t eat from Looli’s plate. If she doesn’t like me and doesn’t want to play with me I don’t want to eat from her plate! Well, it took a long time for my step mom to realize it. She cooked and cooked: chicken, beef, omletes, vegetables and it all tasted like Looli's spit, YUK!!!
You might think that I’m weird, but I like to watch her eating and lick her plate when she is done.
I suspect that she gets some goodies that I don’t!

Hi, Let Me Introduce Myself!

My name is Minnie and I’m the first Pettit Basset Griffon Vendeen that immigrated to the Holy Land from the UK (I wonder if Jesus liked it here?). I was born at "Jamar" in Hythe, Kent. A woman named ST adopted me. I have a beautiful older Lhasa Apso sister called Looli (Isn’t she gorgeous?). Well, I think that she is a little upset that I joined the family ;-(
Although, yesterday she let me sleep in her bed – I was sooooo happy!!!
